Killed – Ruby Elizabeth White (Lincolnton, NC)

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Lincoln County deputies said they’ve arrested a man accused of shooting and killing his wife at their home on Saturday afternoon.

WBTV reported that Terry Lee White, 54, of Lincolnton, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of 39-year-old Ruby Elizabeth White.

Authorities said the suspect called 911 around 12:30 p.m. Saturday and said he killed his wife and was going to commit suicide.

Officers said they arrested the suspect at his home. They said he dropped his weapon, but had to use a stun gun to get him under control.
