FORT WORTH — Two men were shot to death and a third man was seriously wounded early Sunday in a shooting at a street corner in northwest Fort Worth, police said.
The Tarrant County medical examiner office identified one victim as Richard Torres, 22 of Fort Worth, who died from gunshots in his head and neck.
Another 22-year-old victim, who died at a hospital shortly after he was found, had not been identified by Sunday afternoon.
A 23-year-old man remained in a local hospital Sunday.
Police got a call of a shooting about 3 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Azle Avenue and the 2500 block of Kearney Avenue in a store parking lot.
They found that three men had been shot. All the victims were taken to local hospitals, where the two 22-year-old men died.
FORT WORTH (AP) — Police in North Texas have identified two men fatally shot following a weekend altercation between groups of people in separate cars.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Tuesday that 22-year-old Francisco Vallejo of Fort Worth died Sunday of a gunshot to the chest.
Also killed in the dispute early Sunday morning was 22-year-old Richard Torres of Fort Worth, who was shot in the head and neck. A 23-year-old man who police have not identified also was shot. His condition was not available.
