A Wesley Chapel man who was shot Wednesday night has died, and Pasco County deputies have classified the case as a homicide.
Timothy Leigh Skowronski, 31, of 30122 Eastport Drive, was shot at his home and died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said Friday. Detectives do not have a motive for the shooting or a suspect.
The sheriff’s office received a call about the shooting at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies said the gunman approached the back porch of Skowronski’s home while four people were inside.
Joseph James Berenguer, 27, and Matthew Brian Tillman, 25, both of 6300 Tulip Drive, Wesley Chapel, are charged with first-degree murder.
The pair were arrested Monday night at their home in connection to the Oct. 9 shooting of Timothy Leigh Skowronski, 31. Skowronski died two days later at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa.
