Jeremy Bafunsho was shot to death Monday evening in the Roseland neighborhood.
Bafunsho, 19, was in the driver’s seat of a car in the 11300 block of South Edbrooke Avenue when he got into an altercation with a passenger about 5:15 p.m. Monday, authorities said.
The passenger shot Bafunsho in the abdomen area, authorities said. The gunman exited the vehicle, fired another shot at Bafunsho and fled.
Bafunsho was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he later died.
At 5:15 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in the abdomen in the 11300 block of South Edbrooke Avenue in the Roseland neighborhood, officials said. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious-to-critical condition, where he was pronounced dead at 6:37 p.m., officials said. The medical examiner’s office identified him as Jeremy Bafunsho.
