DETROIT (WXYZ) – Detroit police are left with nothing but questions after the city’s most recent homicide where a 20-year-old man was found dead in his car.
It happened sometime between 2:00 and 3:00 Wednesday morning on Detroit’s east side, just off outer drive and Van Dyke.
When Action News pulled up to the scene, officers were busy looking for pieces of evidence to help them in their investigation.
Inside the late model four-door Buick was a black male in his 20’s, who police say had been shot at three times.
The unidentified man in his 30s was found at 2:10 a.m. in a green 1998 Buick Park Avenue stopped at East Outer Drive and Van Dyke, Detroit Police Sgt. Michael Woody said in release issued today. A single gunshot shattered the front windshield and hit the man in the chest, Woody said. A Detroit EMS medic pronounced the man dead at the scene.
On December 04, 2013, at approximately 2:10 a.m., in the area of East Outer Drive and Van Dyke, the victim was found slumped over in a green (1998 Buick Park Avenue) plate #CLB4873. the circumstance is unknown.
The victim is deceased.
