Hector Brown, 36, was killed and two others were injured about 11:29 p.m. in a shooting on the 1200 block of East 39th Street.
Miller said Brown and the other two shooting victims left a party in that block of Savannah’s Live Oak neighborhood when the shots were fired. They reported a man in a pickup pulled up beside their vehicle and opened fire, Miller said.
The three men were taken to the hospital in private vehicles. Brown was pronounced dead on arrival, and the other two men were treated for their injures, Miller said.
Savannah-Chatham police are looking for a man wanted for questioning in the Dec. 7 shooting death of a 36-year-old man on Savannah’s eastside.
Police are asking the public to help them located 27-year-old Michael Napoleon Gregory as part of their homicide investigation into Hector Brown’s death last month, said Julian Miller, police spokesman. Brown died of his injuries after he and two other men were shot about 11:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 39th Street.
