Modesto, CA- Modesto Police are investigating a double shooting in North Modesto.
At about 5:30 PM on December 11, 2013, officers were called to the 100 Block of Mark Randy Place to investigate a report of shots fired. When officers arrived they located two victims who had been shot. Both victims were transported to local hospitals to be treated for gunshot wounds. One of the victims is a 19-year-old from Riverbank, who is in stable condition. The second victim has been identified as 19-year-old Damian Villavicencio of Riverbank, who succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation indicates the victims were shot in the 100 Block of Mark Randy Place. The victims ran to the nearby McDonald’s Restaurant to obtain assistance when one of the victims collapsed. Drugs appear to be a motive in the shooting.
Detectives had detained two juveniles and one adult at the scene who were believed to be the suspects in the shooting. The adult has been identified as 23-year-old Lamar Oldham (pictured) of Modesto. Oldham, a 17-year-old male and 17-year-old female have been arrested for homicide and attempted homicide.
