SAN ANTONIO — Police found a man and woman shot to death inside a home near Interstate 10 and Leon Springs.
Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 8600 block of Buckskin Drive, in far northwest Bexar County, around 4:50 p.m. Thursday.
Upon arrival, police found 59-year-old Timothy Bagley and 48-year-old Cynthia Nemcik shot dead, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said Bagley suffered three gunshot wounds to the head, and Nemcik was only shot once in the head.
The couple’s daughter found them and called 9-1-1.
Although the Bexar County Sheriff s Office is investigating this incident to determine exactly what occurred, it appears to be a murder-suicide, a spokesperson for the department wrote in a statement.
A revolver, believed to be the murder weapon, was found inside the home.
Bagley was shot multiple times in the head and Nemcik was shot once in the head, according to Rosanne Hughes, spokeswoman for the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. A revolver was found in the house, according to Hughes.
