Police are investigating a triple shooting in the Kensington section of the city that killed one man and critically injured two others.
Police say three men were on the 3300 block of Jasper Street shortly before 4 p.m. on Sunday when an unidentified gunman opened fire before fleeing the scene.
One man was struck once in the head and neck area. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:06 p.m. Another man was struck three times in the back while a 29-year-old man was struck once in the head.
The two surviving victims were taken to Temple University Hospital where they are both in critical condition.
Police said gunfire erupted inside of a house on Jasper Street near Wensley around 3:54 p.m. and claimed the life of an unidentified man who was shot once in the back of his head.
Authorities arrived to a home there and found a 19-year-old male victim shot once. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other men, ages 19 and 20 also suffered gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
