A 37-year-old Milan man was shot to death by his 68-year-old father, who then called 911 and turned himself in Thursday night, police said.
The 37-year-old has been identified as Gregory Paul Olds.
Milan police went to a residence on West Miller Street in Milan at 9:10 p.m. after receiving a call from a man who said he just shot his son, according to police.
While emergency responders were en route, the man told dispatchers he was securing the firearm inside the house and would be outside when authorities arrived.
The 68-year-old was waiting outside when police got to the residence and was arrested without incident. Olds was discovered inside the home dead from a single gunshot wound.
