Killed – Jimmy Mosmeyer Jr (Universal City, TX)

A Universal City family is mourning their son.

SAN ANTONIO — A man shot and killed at his Universal City apartment last week has been identified as Jimmy Mosmeyer Jr., according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Mosmeyer, 25, was shot in the head when someone came to his apartment around 5:30 p.m. at the Pebble Beach Apartments in the 400 block of East Aviation Boulevard in Universal City, officials and media reports said.

Details about the shooting were not available because Universal City police did not respond to numerous phone calls requesting information.

Mosmeyer’s stepfather told KSAT-TV that he was shot when his 2-year-old daughter and a roommate were in his apartment.

The incident began Thursday afternoon inside an apartment in the Pebble Beach Village complex in the 400 block of East Aviation Street.

Universal City police discovered the body of a young man identified as 25-year-old Jimmy Mosmeyer.
