Police are investigating after a man was shot to death in a parking lot outside 109 Adelaide Street in Hartford’s 22nd homicide of the year.
The victim has been identified by his family as Angel Vasquez, 23. He died of a single gunshot wound to the head.
Police have arrested a suspect in a fatal shooting in a parking lot outside 109 Adelaide Street in Hartford on Dec. 20 and said he is a convicted felon.
Angel Vasquez, 23, had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they identified Daniel Morales, 30, of East Hartford and Hartford, as a suspect through DNA.
Morales, a convicted felon, was out on parole, police said, and authorities found him with help from parole officers.
When police interviewed Morales on April 24, he confessed to shooting and killing Vasquez, according to a news release from Hartford Police.
Police say they responded to 109 Adelaide Street on Decemeber 20th around 9 PM, to find 23-year-old Angel Vasquez suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
