HARRISBURG — The man who was fatally shot Sunday by Harrisburg police has been identified as William M. Jackson, 43, a West Hanover Township resident, Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick said Monday.
Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick on Monday revealed the identity of the West Hanover Township man who was shot and killed Sunday by Harrisburg police. The man is William M. Jackson, 43.
An autopsy performed on Jackson revealed that he was struck with three bullets, and a fatal shot hit his spine, Hetrick added during a news conference at the coroner’s office here.
Jackson was shot around 4:50 p.m. at the corner of Schuylkill Street and Brensinger Alley. Police were investigating a suspicious Ford Ranger pickup truck in the area, authorities said.
