Anthony Jordan, 29, was indicted Wednesday on charges of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession and/or discharge of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime resulting in death, the U.S. attorney’s office said.
The indictment claims Jordan fatally shot Robert “Parker G” Parker, 32, and Clara Walker, 51, on Dec. 29, 2013 “in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.” Police at the time said that Parker was in an SUV and was hit by shots fired from a vehicle that had pulled up next to him in the 4000 block of Peck Street, near Fairground Park. Walker, a mother of nine and grandmother to eight, was hit by a stray bullet as she looked out her apartment window, relatives said at the time.
