Killed – Terron Walker (Newark, NJ)

NEWARK — Two men were shot and killed last night and early this morning, marking the first two homicides of the year in Essex County, authorities said.

Terron Walker, a 27-year-old Newark man, was shot on Hawthorne Avenue in Newark about 8 p.m. Friday, according to Anthony Ambrose, chief of detectives for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Ambrose said.
