KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Homicide detectives are searching for both answers and suspects after Myeisha Turner, 27, and her 3-year-old daughter Damiah White were found dead Friday night (Aug. 23) inside their Kansas City duplex located in the 5500 block of Wabash Avenue in Kansas City (see the video below). Their bodies were discovered by a family member around 7:15 p.m. The back door was reportedly left wide open.
“I’m a father and to bury my child, it’s hard,” said Damian White, the father of 3-year-old Damiah White, who was found slain Friday night along with her mother, Myeisha Turner. “I’m just filled with emotion.”
The unthinkable occurred Friday night when Turner was found inside her new home at 55th Street and Wabash Avenue, along with her daughter. Her 11-month-old son, Denim White, was found traumatized and wandering among the bodies.
