Killed – Jason Wasson (San Jacinto, CA)

A 38-year-old San Jacinto man died of gunshot wounds suffered in the 400 block of El Dorado Street Thursday night.

The shooting was reported at 8:05 p.m., according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department news release. When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Hemet Valley Medical Center.

Jason Wasson, 38, was pronounced dead at 8:56 p.m. at the Hemet hospital, according to a county coroner’s news release.
