Killed – Arturo Armenta (New Orleans, LA)

A man was shot to death late Wednesday in Hollygrove, police said.

The victim, Arturo Armenta, 23, was in the 3900 block of Gen. Ogden Street when someone opened fire on him about 11 p.m., said Officer Frank Robertson, a New Orleans Police Department spokesman.

Armenta was shot in the neck and died on the scene, said John Gagliano, the Orleans Parish coroner’s chief investigator.
